Morgan Pedlow

I’m Morgan, an architectural graduate/furniture designer from Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland. I’m currently based in Amsterdam.

I’ve been brought up in a house where everything was designed & made by my two parents - an architect, and a steel fabricator/furniture designer. Naturally, this has passed down to me, & I find myself at an intersection between the two.

Ash Bed Frame + Headboard
2022-2023This bedframe was made using large lengths of ash timber, fixed to a steel angle frame. A steel bar frame is set below this, allowing the timber to float. I later added a bedhead to the frame, made with Malaysian Kauri, and lined with black linoleum. Unfortunately, both these pieces are too large to photograph in my bedroom so I’ve never been able to get any decent photos of the finished piece.
